Garden Design - Dartmouth Park, London N19

This L-shaped garden will feature a decorative concrete and granite patio laid in a diagonal ‘wave’ pattern, that will appear to travel from left to right through the extension to create the illusion that the garden is bigger than it actually is.
Lines of beige granite setts will serve to break up the decorative concrete paving, providing continuity and a sense of movement through the garden, and most especially visually linking the two sides of the ‘L’.
The top left hand corner of the garden will benefit from an ellipse of yellow balau decking, featuring a raised planter and fixed bench seat constructed from a rendered block base and topped with wave paving edged with beige granite setts.
