Garden Design - Higham Hill, London E17

Create a garden in three areas:
- First area - an elegant stone paved area to display pots and to provide an area for dining
- Second area - an enclosed area comprising planted raised beds and lawn. This area will inject some colour into the space, with a pink and plum semi-tropical planting palette, including evergreen and semi-evergreen shrubs for lush vegetation and year round interest. A planted tulip spiral maze in the centre of the lawn will provide extra fun and interest for the children in the spring. The planting palette will be complimented by a cerise pink painting scheme for the raised beds.
- Third area - this will become the children's area, designed to encourage wildlife and to build a stable ecological system for the rest of the garden. It will include 'living seating', wooden climbing and swing areas, and bark chip carpeting to create a safe area where children can play, hide, read and retreat.
- To maximise on space the shed will be turned around by 90 degrees.
- To give the illusion of more space we will paint the existing fencing a light shade of snowdrop, which will make the garden appear wider whilst adding to the Mexican feel.
