Essex Garden Design Diary WOTB wk36 2015

This week Katrina went to present to a client who were looking for a garden designer in Leytonstone. The client has requested a front and back garden design to revamp the exterior space. The front garden consisted of paving laid on a 45 degree angle, as well as neat box hedging and an arrangement of climbers along a back wall. The client loved both garden designs, and is looking to commission both builds. The client would like to do the front garden design in the next 2 to 3 months but delay the back until next year.

Katrina continues work on the roof garden design in Romford, Essex. The client has requested a lush green planting space that she can enjoy for herself or with friends. Katrina is currently exploring bespoke furniture as the main feature of the space.

Matt went to conduct two site surveys this week. One for a garden design in East London, Hackney and one for a garden design in Finchley, North London. Katrina will start sketching and drawing them out in the studio over the coming week.

Work continues in our garden landscape in Thorpe Bay with ground work preparation being the key task. The fireplace was built along with the feature walls.

Our garden build in Hampstead is almost finished now. Matt and his team installed a large yellow planter with an olive tree. Artificial lawn was also laid which really brings the garden together.

Jo has been working on our social media sites. Earth Designs have joined Houzz so you’ll start to see images gradually being loaded onto our page. We are also adding more of our garden designs to Pinterest so feel free to take a look and pin away!
