Earth Designs suggested a twist on a traditional colonnade. A large sandstone patio directly outside the back doors lead to a stepping stone pathway interspersed with pleached limes, flanked on either side by tall contemporary planters planted with either a low growing evergreen grass or a standard bay tree.

The pathway would dog leg to the right to join a large timber pergola. A metal garden screen or water feature installed at the corner of the path will form the focal point of the garden.

A combination of shade sails and stainless steel mesh screening installed on the pergola will help to restore some privacy from the overlooking flats and will provide a secluded area for entertaining and relaxation.

A series of a decorative wall panels adorn the fences and bespoke screens planted amongst the flower beds provide added texture and year round interest.
